You Have the Right to Remain Stupid

From the Berkshire Eagle comes this story out of Pittsfield, Massachusetts:

More than $8,000 worth of cocaine, a 9 mm semiautomatic pistol, ammunition and five bulletproof vests were among the items recovered during a raid Friday evening at 11 Pinehurst Ave., court documents allege.

Excluding the packaging, more than 80 grams of cocaine were found in the house, court documents stated.

Quote of the Week comes from the home's occupant, 28-year-old Pelem Damon Powell, the most straight-up, honest (though maybe a bit on the slow side) drug dealer you'll ever meet.

"I'll take responsibility for the coke, the crack and the gun, it's mine, but not that seven grams on the counter, because I just sold it to him," according to a statement attributed by police to Powell.
