Boat Lands In Trees; Alcohol Believed To Be Factor

According to the Maine Dept. of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, four unidentified men were on Square Pond in Shapleigh, Maine around 1:30 a.m. when their boat went airborne and landed about eight feet off the ground in a patch of trees.

According to police, alcohol was a probable factor in the accident.


OK, I suppose it's possible that four guys could have put a powerboat eight feet up a tree at 1:30 in the morning without having consumed an excessive quantity of alcohol...
