MA SJC to MA DoR: F.U.

Excellent news.

Massachusetts' highest court has ruled the state has no right to collect taxes from a retail chain that sold tires to Massachusetts residents in New Hampshire.

Look for the legislature in the Bay Pay State to spring into action over the next couple weeks to close what will inevitably be described as a "loophole". The phrase "the law as written" is so much less scary.
