Three Quick Observations

1. Until Joe Biden goes on record calling for Charlie Rangel to step down as Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, he has no God-damned business whatsoever describing Joe Wilson's actions last night as an embarrassment to the United States Congress.

2. Also, if, as President Obama pointed out last night, there are many details in the health care reform plan that still need to be worked out, what the hell was he doing this summer trying to ram this bill through Congress prior to the August recess, before any of those details were even allowed to see daylight?

3. Lastly, this one from Arnold Kling at the Atlantic:

[Obama] said,

Reducing the waste and inefficiency in Medicare and Medicaid will pay for most of this plan.

And if we don't pass this plan, does he intend to keep the waste and inefficiency, out of spite?

I honestly don't want to know the answer to that one.

Though, I have a pretty good guess as to what it might be.
