Zell's Bells

If you missed Zell Miller's speech last night at the RNC, the transcript is here. I particularly enjoyed this bit referring to the leaders of today's Democratic Party:

It is not their patriotism - it is their judgment that has been so sorely lacking. They claimed Carter's pacifism would lead to peace.

They were wrong.

They claimed Reagan's defense buildup would lead to war.

They were wrong.

And, no pair has been more wrong, more loudly, more often than the two Senators from Massachusetts, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry.

Funny, we haven't seen much of Uncle Ted out on the campaign trail since he helped sell Kerry to the dejected Deaniacs. I wonder why. Not.

UPDATE: Wizbang has the recap of Zell Miller's bitch-slapping of Chrissy Matthews on Hardball last night.
