First Blood
Red Sox draw first blood in Anaheim, up 1-0 after one inning of play. I will update this post throughout the game as my mental faculties permit.
You know John Kerry must really be enjoying the game so far. In just the first inning, the senator's favorite player, Manny Ortiz, reached second base with two outs and then drove himself in with an RBI single in the next at-bat.
UPDATE: OK, no real update, just another inning in the record books. Angels strand the lead-off man on second. Top of the third coming up.
