~ The Management

Our Papi, Who art in Fenway
Hallowed be thy team.
Thou kicketh ass,
On Yankee grass,
And at home, as you did in the Bronx.

Give us this year our shiny rings,
And forgive us our talk of curses,
As we forgive those who talk of curses against us.

And lead us not into extra innings,
But deliver us from errors.

For thou art the Schilling,
And the Pedro,
And the D-Lowe,
For ever and ever.

Damon.

UPDATE: So far, so good. The Red Sox bullpen outlasted the Cardinals' bullpen. Mark Bellhorn, again with the big blast, a two-run homer in the 8th! Sox win 11-9!

UPDATE: Sox take Game 2, 6-2! But, FOUR errors? AGAIN? If that trend continues against this Cardinals' line-up, this thing could turn ugly really fast. The memory of the last 2-0 World Series lead by the Red Sox has been seared into my memory. SEARED, I tell you!

UPDATE: Sox win Game 3, on the road, 4-1! THAT was the Pedro I was hoping would show up tonight! Damn!

I remain cautiously optimistic.

UPDATE: Knock knock. Who's there?

THE BOSTON RED SOX

HAVE WON

THE WORLD SERIES!!!

Mother, may I please go to sleep now?

Yes, dear.
