News Flash - Gun Control Saves Lives!

From the gun control capital of the Midwest:

Investigation Launched Into Kidnapped Man's 911 Call

CHICAGO -- Police in Elgin, Ill., are investigating whether 911 dispatchers and police officers thought a kidnapped man's call for help was a prank.

The caller, David Steeves, 19, was found shot to death in the trunk of his mother's car a few days later.

Robert J. Guyton Jr., 23, and Armin Henderson, 25, were charged with first-degree murder, kidnapping, aggravated vehicular hijacking and other crimes in Steeves' death.

Yes, thanks to Illinois' "common-sense" gun control laws, only one person died in this horrible incident. Had Mr. Steeves been allowed to carry a firearm, we might now be reading about two "youths" killed by gunfire.

So remember, kids, guns are bad. If you ever find yourself stuffed in the trunk of your mother's car by two gun-wielding crackheads, you can always call 911.
