An Honest Omission, I'm Sure

Here's an article from the Cambridge Chronicle discussing the largely unheard-of (an unreported) incidents of domestic violence assaults within the gay community.

That's strange - there's an organization right here in Massachusetts, dedicated solely to empowering members of the gay, lesbian, and transgendered community to help defend themselves from violence. I wonder (not) why they didn't get so much as a casual mention in the article above.
