Quote of the Week

I omitted this from Monday's post about the 7-11 clerk who was beaten and robbed in Attleboro earlier this week, as it is truly deserving of its own post. First, the video of the most recent incident, where Mr. Khan was mercilessly beaten by two little piece of shit scumbags (courtesy of cbs4boston.com).

Here's what these nice young men looked like while they were wearing hoods and savagely beating the defenseless store clerk with a copper pipe and a wooden stick.

And here they are, unmasked and in handcuffs.

And now, our Quote of the Week, the motivation behind their personal wealth redistribution plan, as reported by WCVB (Channel 5, Boston):

Attleboro police said Rhyan Vaughan, 19, and Fred Baskin, 17, robbed the store for the second time in the past two weeks. The last time, police said, they grabbed their weapon off a store shelf.

"Maybe one week or 10 days ago, the same guys tried to spray my eyes with mosquito spray," said Khan.

[snip]

Vaughn claimed he was trying to get money to help pay his mother's rent.

Yeah, quite the loving son. His Mom must just be busting with pride.

Vaughan's mother left the court without comment.

Well, I suppose that's better than the usual "He's such a good boy!" line of crap we've come to expect from the parents of these walking piles of animalistic fecal mold.

Also from the Channel 5 story:

Attleboro residents said the store has been robbed so many times that some people think of it as an ATM. Kahn agreed, and said if management does not put a second person on the overnight shift, he will leave the job.

"There should be two guys in that store. Without two guys, I can't stay," Khan said.

Perhaps, if there had been a clerk with a .38 in that store, the world would be a better place today.

By a margin of two.
