I won't be holding my breath waiting for this movie to win any kind of awards at Sundance this fall.

A few years back, when all of this global warming hysteria started to emerge (as opposed to the global cooling hysteria that preceded it), my opinion, at the time, was that this was nothing more than political activism, promoting rabid anti-capitalism and anti-globalization, combined with Marxist redistribution of wealth on a worldwide scale, disguised as environmentalism, and sold to the masses against the backdrop of apocalyptic doom and destruction.
FOR THE CHILDRENTM, of course.
But, it's much more than that. And it's not pretty.
These four words from the movie (at 1:04:44) pretty much say it all:
The multi-billion dollar industry that has sprung up around the concept of man-made global warming and its apocalyptic rhetoric illustrates the dangers of this movement. Capitalists are cashing in on the work of the Marxists, creating a dangerous, and well-financed, symbiotic relationship between the two.
But, don't worry, kids.
The U.N. is on the job.
