Unfit For Duty

And to think, this woman plays an official role in drafting and passing new laws, which the rest of us in the state are supposed to live by.

ROCHESTER, N.H. -- A New Hampshire state representative has been arrested for the third time in two months.

Rep. Nancy Warren, D-Rochester, was arrested Friday and charged with stalking a neighbor and trespassing on his property, both violations of a bail order from a previous arrest.

Police said Warren left multiple messages on the phone of a man she is forbidden by court order to contact and then went on his property, which is across the street from her home.

"She went to a subject's house in Rochester where she wasn't supposed to be," Lt. Paul Toussaint said.

Warren was charged with simple assault and other misdemeanor charges after an April 1 altercation with the same man. Police said she threw an alcoholic drink in his face.

She was arrested on March 9 and charged with class B felony burglary at the home of the same man. Police described the pattern of incidents as typical for a domestic dispute situation.

I don't know what her medical history is, and yeah, "innocent until proven guilty" and all that, but what the hell is she still doing serving in the State Legislature???

Legislative observers said Warren would not be likely to face reprimand from her fellow representatives...

What? And possibly lose her seat to a Republican?

Priorities, people!
