This Pretty Much Sums It Up
One candidate, walking the streets, signing autographs, surrounded by enthusiastic supporters from all walks of life.
The other, indoors, greeting a captive audience of union members, trying to orchestrate a photo op in a near vacuum of enthusiasm.

UPDATE: More "enthusiasm chasm" illustrated (via the Boston Herald).
