Is There an Echo in Here?

From the Boston Herald:

Punks stab, rob delivery man

For the second time in two weeks, a food delivery man has been jumped, robbed and stabbed in Boston, police said.

Early yesterday morning, a 37-year-old man who recently was hired at the Yum Yum Chinese Restaurant in Dorchester returned to work without realizing he had been stabbed when five or six men jumped him and robbed him, said John Boyle, Boston police spokesman.

Five guys with knives vs. one disarmed subject of the Commonwealth. Apparently, that's how the mayor likes the odds. Wonder who his money's on.

"The victim had been stabbed twice - once in the left buttocks and once in the lower back," Boyle said. The man, whose name was withheld for his safety, was taken to Boston Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries.

Well, isn't that special? As if it's not bad enough getting stabbed and robbed while working in a high-risk profession in a city whose leaders do all they can to strip their constituents of the basic human right to self-defense. Now they're saying that should these dirtbags find out who this guy is (not that tough to do), they'd possibly seek to do him (or his family) additional harm.

Good luck, man.
