How Can This Be?

It's shaping up to be a pretty busy day in the land of the "most effective gun laws in the nation".

Three injured in Roxbury shooting

BOSTON (AP) -- Boston police said three people have been taken to the hospital following a shooting in Roxbury this morning.

The shooting on Schuyler Street was reported shortly before 11 a.m.

The extent of the injuries is not known.

A police spokesman says officers are searching for a suspect described as a black man wearing a white T-shirt.

Well, that narrows it down.

Meanwhile, over in Lower Allston:

Man Shot In Head, In Serious Condition

(CBS4) BOSTON A 24-year-old male is in serious condition after being shot in the head early Friday morning.

The incident occurred on North Harvard Street in the Allston/Brighton area.

The victim was taken to Brigham and Women's hospital to be treated for his injuries.

But according to our mayor, there's no need to be concerned. After all, each of these four victims represents just ONE isolated incident of violent crime. And, he's certainly not going to let ONE isolated incident distort his reality.
