Quote of the Day

From the Boston Herald, comes this follow-up piece on the stabbing death of an elderly woman in Falmouth (MA) this week.

A 40-year-old car saleswoman was charged yesterday with stabbing her aunt to death after breaking into her home to look for money to buy drugs.

"They were a close family, but close families do things like this, especially if one of them is on dope," Bill Warren, a longtime friend of the couple's, said yesterday at the Elks Lodge they frequented.

Note to self: Decline all future invites to Warren family reunions.
