Subsonic .22LR Question

Does anyone have any experience using subsonic ammo in a semi-automatic, specifically a Ruger 10/22? I've read mixed reviews on its ability to cycle properly. Though, quite a few folks, it seems, found that the Remington subsonic fed well with almost any type of gun.

Anyway, I picked up 100 rounds at Riley's in Hooksett yesterday. If the weather ever clears up, I'll give it a try and report my findings. Also, if anyone has some extra steel spinners they're not using...
