The Most Open and Ethical Congress....EVER!!!
The United States Senate voted today, largely along party lines, to keep taxpayer-funded bribery and coercion legal in the United States Congress.
Because using hundreds of millions of the taxpayers money to bribe fellow lawmakers to vote in favor of legislation that those same taxpayers are overwhelmingly opposed to is, like, all Hopeychangey and stuff.
Thank you, Jeanne Shaheen for sticking your middle finger in the eyes of the people of New Hampshire, and everyone who believes, as our Founding Fathers did, in the concept of representative government.
I hope we get the chance to return the favor someday soon.
