When the Going Gets Tough...

The tough pack up their shit and walk.

Apparently the idea of actually having to show up for work didn't sit well with our good friend and hack of all trades, Angelo Buonopane.

Previous post updated HERE.

UPDATE (4/6/05): The Boston Globe this morning carries this parting statement from the hack formerly known as Angelo Buonopane, but whom shall be referred to, henceforth, on this blog as "The Moving Finger".

Buonopane yesterday declined to be interviewed. However late last night, he released a brief statement, quoting an English translation of a verse by 11th century Persian poet Omar Khayyám. The verse appears to reflect Buonopane's unhappiness with recent media coverage about his job performance.

The Moving Finger writes; and having writ,
Moves on: nor all your Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line
Nor all your tears wash out a Word of it.

Yeah, whatever. Moving Finger, meet middle finger.
