But, Gun Control Works...Really

Yet another special gun court is scheduled to open in the land of the "most effective gun laws in the nation".

District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett hopes the state's first firearms court scheduled to open, he said, today in Peabody District Court will stem the tide of North Shore gun violence and get guns out of gang members' hands.

I "wonder" why authorities in Vermont, a state with very few state-level restrictions on the purchase and possession of firearms by law-abiding citizens, don't see any need to do the same.

He hopes the prosecutions and jail sentences resulting from gun court sessions will keep a wave of gun violence in Boston from washing north into Lynn and surrounding communities.

Looks like someone (Mayor Menino, please call youe office) forgot to send the "Blame New Hampshire" talking points memo up to District Attorney Blodgett's office.
