Pop Quiz Time

This one's a double-dose of "What's Wrong With This Picture?".*

Picture A:

BOSTON (WBZ) ― There was good news and bad news for drivers at the Massachusetts Turnpike Board meeting Wednesday in Auburn.

The good news is the board decided not to raise the cost of tolls for the next 12 months.

The bad news - they plan to eliminate toll discounts for drivers who use the automated Fast Lane system.

Picture B:

The discount saves drivers 25 cents at the Allston-Brighton and Interstate 95 tolls and 50 cents at the tunnels.

The board said getting rid of the discounts will bring in an extra $18 million a year to the cash-strapped agency. The Pike is struggling with a $56 million deficit, caused primarily by the Big Dig.

I'd post the answers, but I don't see any reason to, knowing that my readers, on average, are 350% smarter than the average Massachusetts voter.

On a slow day.

* And, by "wrong", I mean "wrong" as defined by us normal people. Bear in mind, this news item comes to us from Massachusetts, where obfuscatory nonsense like this makes perfectly good sense.
