File Under "Guns Cause Crime"

With the snow now gone and warmer weather on the way, we can expect to see more stories like this unfolding in our gun-free paradise.

BOSTON (AP) -- Boston police are investigating the stabbing death of a woman in East Boston.

The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Anna Elizabeth Mendoza. Officers found her early Saturday morning in the foyer of a building on Cottage Street. She was later pronounced dead at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Homicide detectives are continuing to investigate the case and no arrests have been made.

Nothing to worry about. We only need to remember the words of our benevolent leader, Mayor Menino, from last fall and everything will be just fine.

"It's a safe city, but I think we have an issue today that must be addressed"

When asked for her opinion on this "issue", Anna Elizabeth Mendoza was unavailable for comment.
