This Is "News"?

Maybe to someone who hasn't been reading my blog for the last year and a half, it is.

Lets review, shall we?

You make it exceedingly difficult for decent people to defend themselves against the violent, predatory scumbags, with whom we are forced to share our neighborhoods, and the rate of violent street crime in these neighborhoods (are you sitting down?) goes up.

Now, if you're a slow-learner (aka: a liberal Massachusetts democrat), please take the time to re-read that paragraph until it, at least, begins to sink in.

Rash of armed robberies hits Hub streets

A startling spike in armed street robberies is striking every corner of Boston with victims facing knife and gun-wielding thieves in even the toniest neighborhoods.

During the first five days of the year, there were 34 robberies or attempted robberies, a 21 percent spike over the same period in 2004, when there were 28, according to Boston police statistics.

This week alone, there have been more than a dozen armed street robberies, a Herald review of reported crimes shows. Even upscale neighborhoods such as historic Beacon Hill and the trendy South End and Back Bay have seen their share of the crimes.

I'm.

Stunned.

The attacks are random and increasingly violent.

Well, that Citizen Disarmament Policy of yours is really paying off now, eh, Mr. Mayor?
